Ohhh the responses you’ll get! I love Facebook for it let’s us connect with a ton of people we may not ever speak to in person but when it comes to this subject, I honestly cringe.
“Just run & watch what you eat”
“Portion control & daily exercise”
“Don’t eat carbs”
“Eat carbs because your body needs them, just increase protein”
“Intermittent fasting. It worked for me”
”Don’t fast, eat 6 small meals a day”
”balance your hormones. That’s the problem”
”Keto”
”Drink lots of water”
”Get a script from your doctor”
”Meal prep!”
”Eat golden honey”…..

Here’s the thing guys- what works for your neighbor may not work for you. I’ve been doing this for a lonnngggggg time. I see this every day and hear your struggles every single day.
Although most of these things will help- here’s the problem.
What if … just hear me out… what if said person can’t just hop off the couch and run a mile? What if they have bad joints or had a recent knee replacement …. That’s not gonna work.
Telling said person to exercise daily when they don’t even have time to pee during the day will do nothing.
Telling someone to “watch what they eat” will do nothing if they don’t even know what they’re supposed to be eating calorie wise.
Telling someone to completely cut out carbs from their diet when they don’t want to do that will do nothing.
TELLING SOMEONE THAT AFTER THEY STOP TAKING AN INJECTION FROM THEIR DOC THEY WILL GAIN IT ALL BACK helps no one. (We know this)
My whole point is – not one thing will work for everyone.
Weight loss isn’t one product, one method, one exercise, one fast, one gallon of water.
Weight loss is a lifestyle change and you have to be in that mindset. Weight loss is hard.
All these methods will work. But it’s “after” the fact, when you stop a product or reach your goal is when the hard comes in.
