The compounded medications used here at Infuzed IV are all sourced from 503 compounding pharmacies (which means they are all inspected and regulated by not only the FDA, but also the state board of pharmacy (SBOP)) and are also third party tested outside of that pharmacy for PURITY, QUALITY, and EFFECTIVENESS.

Semaglutide belongs to the glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) agonist family. GLP-1 agonists work by stimulating your pancreas to increase insulin. This additional insulin causes the stomach to empty over a longer period of time. The idea of the stomach processing food more slowly can seem counterintuitive to patients. The slow and consistent digestion is an early step in the chain reaction that makes semaglutide an effective weight loss medication.
Tirzepatide is the first dual GIP/GLP-1 receptor agonist which means it works on the glucose-dependent insulinotropic polypeptide (GIP) receptors and the glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptors.
By stimulating the release of hormones such as insulin and glucagon, it helps to reduce hunger, decrease food intake, and promote feelings of fullness. Regulating appetite and promoting feelings of fullness help make it easier for patients to adhere to diet changes or calorie reduction, which can result in weight loss.
When the stomach takes more time to empty itself of food, it sends signals of “fullness” to the brain. The end result of this process is a powerful appetite suppression-effect based on the patient’s own natural insulin production. This means patients can benefit from medically assisted weight loss without any need for invasive surgeries or harsh stimulants.
Bella Capsules are a custom compounded proprietary blend of the main ingredients found in the two leading weight loss medications; Contrave and Qsymia. In addition B12 is added to help with energy and metabolism. This medication attacks weight loss by reducing appetite and cravings.
CONTRAVE works in 2 parts of the brain to help reduce hunger and control cravings- 2 main issues that contribute to weight gain. Across 3 studies, patients who were overweight or obese lost approximately 2-4x more weight over 1 year by adding CONTRAVE than with diet and exercise alone. Nearly half of patients taking CONTRAVE lost 5% or more body weight and kept it off. Individual results may vary.
Lipotropic injections, commonly known as “skinny shots,” are a type of injection used to help with weight loss. The injections are made up of a combination of different vitamins and amino acids, which help to speed up the metabolism and break down fat cells. They are often combined with a healthy diet and exercise program to maximize the results.
Lipotropic injections increase the body’s ability to process fat by breaking down fat cells more quickly and efficiently. This means that more energy is available to be used by the body, thus allowing for more weight loss. The injections also help to reduce cholesterol levels and increase energy levels.

Semaglutide (Brand name Wegovy/Ozempic), Tirzepatide, (brand name Monjauro/Zepbound) are injectable medications which when used in combination with diet and exercise, helps with blood sugar control, appetite control, and potential weight loss. Semaglutide and Tirzepatide belong to a class of medications called glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonists, which mimic the hormone GLP-1 in your body to lower blood sugar levels after you’ve eaten a meal.
What are GLP’S? They aren’t just an appetite suppressant. We have GLP-1 receptors all through our body. In our gut, in our brain, our pancreas, our heart, our blood & muscles. GLP-1 medications will bind to these receptors and stimulate them. They stimulate the satiety centers in the brain so that we feel more satisfied and they also slow down gastric emptying so that the food is moving through us slower and we feel fuller quicker. What we typically see with someone who is taking a GLP-1 medication is that they eat throughout the day, many times, it’s just they eat way less because they are getting fuller much quicker.
Also GLP-1 medications, unlink stimulants, are going to help manage other chronic disease states. They bind to the pancreas and help regulate glucose levels, this is really important for people with PCOS, insulin resistance, pre-diabetes and diabetes. Insulin resistance can affect our hunger hormones, leptin, and treating that with a GLP-1 medication can help regulate those hunger hormones. In more recent studies, this class of medications is also showing benefit for all sorts of other chronic health conditions including improvement in some types of chronic kidney disease, improvement in cardiovascular disease including less heart attacks and strokes. There may also be a benefit for memory and inflammation in the body.
While each person is different, most individuals can expect to lose between 4-10 pounds per month on average. Combined with diet and exercise, with dosage increase, Semaglutide and Tirzepatide will have you shedding inches around your waist, arms, butt, and thighs. We are targeting visceral fat. (The bad fat around the organs! That’s what we want disappearing)
Be sure to come in monthly for your complimentary body scans offered by Infuzed for all weight loss clients. Remember, the weight was not put on overnight and you should not expect overnight results. Consistency and patience is key.
Yes, both Semaglutide & Tirzepatide is considered to be safe and effective when used as indicated. But safe doesn’t mean that there aren’t possible side effects. Possible side effects include was nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea. Semaglutide and Tirzepatide shouldn’t be used if you or your family have a history of certain thyroid cancers. Semaglutide and Tirzepatide should be used cautiously for people on other blood sugar lowering medications.
All of this will be discussed during your initial weight loss consult.
Here are a few things to keep in mind if you are on Semaglutide and Tirzepatide.
First, you’ll want to limit how much alcohol you’re drinking while taking both medications. Alcohol tends to have an effect on your blood sugar, and there is a risk that it may drop too low in combination with Semaglutide & Tirzepatide, especially if you are drinking on an empty stomach.

Our weight loss programs start with a $50 initial consult, that includes your medical history, any prior weight loss programs, and required lab work.
We screen for any contraindication and review how our medications work. The initial weight loss consult takes approximately 30 minutes.
You can choose to come in once a week to have a nurse administer your injection or you may choose to take the medications home for self administration after successful injection teaching by one of our nurses.
For our telehealth program: medications will be shipped via USPS.
We want you to know your side effects, how much weight you’ve lost, and your weight loss goals going forward. Then we, both provider and patient, make the right decision about changing your dosage.
You will check in with Dr. G monthly to discuss dosage increase, side effects, and successes.
The Weight Loss Programs are flexible.
If your goal is to lose 20 or 30 pounds, then you might be able to complete the program in just 90 days; however, for those aiming for larger amounts of weight loss – such as 50+ pounds – the journey may take up six to eight months in total.
Keep in mind that every single person is different.
Capsules vs injections are two totally different administration routes. Capsules get broken down in the gut and injections go to the bloodstream.
Weight loss is achievable with both options however you may find slower results with the capsules but on the other hand we have several people who use the capsules for maintenance once they hit their goal weight with great success.
